When your feed drops, show a safety scene automatically

Pick the ingests you care about, choose an emergency scene, and let the app watch for trouble—so viewers see your backup instead of a frozen frame.

What it does

Automatic Stream Protection keeps an eye on the live ingests you choose. If a feed looks like it stopped or broke, your show can switch to an emergency scene you picked in advance—so you’re not stuck on a dead image while you fix things.

How you set it up

  • Go to Dashboard → Automations and turn protection on.

  • Add one or more ingests to protect—for example your main camera or gameplay feed.

  • Choose an emergency scene that should go on air when something goes wrong.

  • Fine-tune how sensitive detection and recovery feel, and how often the system checks—so brief hiccups don’t overreact, but real problems get caught.

Multiple feeds

You can protect several ingests at once. If any of them runs into trouble, the same emergency scene can take over—handy when your show depends on more than one source.

In short

Less “nothing is moving on screen,” and more time to fix things calmly—while your audience still sees something on purpose.
